At a friends recommendation, we selected Andescape Peru to help us put together a custom itinerary for our visit to Cusco and various points and cities of interest as well as the one day hike to Machu Picchu. Our trip consisted of six days starting with a few days in Cusco to acclimate to the high altitude. We had the same guide during our entire stay which gave us consistency and gave us a chance to build up a comfort level and rapport with him which made it more enjoyable. Our guide was knowledgeable, courteous and flexible to our needs.
