After breakfast we are going to pick you up from your hotel around 10 am, and taking you to our private touring around the gastronomical capital of South América, along the way we will visit the most important attractions that Lima has to offer such as:

We will pick you up from Lima hotel for taking you to the airport where you will take the flight to Arequipa which is the second biggest city in Peru and reconized by Unesco as a heritage of the world, once arrive to Arequipa we will take you to the hotel where you will spend the night, however during the afternoon we will have access to one of the treasures of this city, the Monastery of Santa Catalina, which is basically an small city inside of Arequipa, the tour will show you how was the life for the ladies who decided dedicated their life to the service of God, after the tour you will be free to discover the Gastronomy of Arequipa which is reconozed as the best one in Perú.

After breakfast, we will leave the city and take our private transportation to Chivay, which is the capital of the Colca Canyon, our ride will be for arround 5 hours in total, however on the way we will make a couple stops, the first one is going to be in the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada blanca where you will have the chance t osee Vicuñas, the most representative animals of Perú, another stop will be an small market where you will have the chance to drink the Coca Tea mixed with aromatic herbs of the area, the last stop before start with the going down to Chivay will be the lookout of the Volcanos which is also the higest point of our entire trip.

The wake-up time will be very early in the morning to have a light breakfast and take the bus to the Cruz Del Condor where you will have the opportunity to see the majestic flight of the Condors. If you are lucky you will see all the members of this majestic family and after seeing the condors, you will go back to Chivay where you will have lunch before leaving for going to Puno. You will get the Puno city around 7 pm.

After your breakfast in the morning, we will start our Floating Island tour by motor boat, we take you to one of the legendary Uros Islands where you can observe the traditional way of living of the Uros people, who live on floating reed islands. After a beautiful boat ride we reach Amantani Island where we will break into smaller groups to stay with the local families and have lunch with them. You have the opportunity to trek to the top of the mountain (4150 m.a.s.l) to see the Temples of the Pachamama and Pachatata and enjoy the traditional customs of the island people.

Food and authentic music will be prepared and performed by your designated family. Accommodation: Basic traditional double occupancy accommodation in the family house. Maximum Altitude: 13616 feets, lunch, dinner and breakfast are included in Amantani.

After breakfast we will take a short boat ride to the neighboring Taquile Island, where we will tour around the capital of the island and visit these beautiful people, world famous for their intricate and fascinating weavings, after visit the market you will have the opportunity to try rainbow trout during lunch or if you are vegetarian a fresh veggie omelet, after lunch we will take the return trip to Puno. Our arrival time  to Puno will be approximately 3 or 4 pm. The lunch is included in Taquile.

We will pick you up at 06:30 am after your breakfast and take you to the bus station to take the bus to Cusco. This is a really nice bus trip that is more like a tour - it stops at five interesting sites and along the way you will have guided tours, the lunch is included in Sicuani Town. The bus will leave Puno at 07:00 am and get to Cusco at 05:00 pm. The sites that you will visit are:

We will pick you up at 09:00 am from the hotel after your breakfast and take you directly to Saqsayhuaman Archeological park, the park is compose by 4 inca sites that are located closet o each other, the places are:

After visit the 4 places we will go down to the city to have a short walking tour and visit the San Peter Local Market and the Main Plaza of Cusco.

We will pick you up at 8:30 in the morning from your Hotel in Cusco. Our transport will take you to the south of Cusco to the town of Cusipata. The transfer lasts an average of 1 hour 40 minutes on the Cusco-Sicuani highway.

We will arrive at our Destination “Cusipata River Lodge”. Upon arrival you will find all the needed facilities: toilets, dressing rooms, sauna and lockers. Then you will be provided with all the rafting equipment: helmet, life jacket, wetsuit and a waterproof jacket, which have all been sanitized under biosecurity protocols.

You will be transported up river where the guides will provide you with all the necessary information and then proceed down the river tour in self-evacuating inflatable rafts for an approximate time of 2 hours. The rapids in this section are class III and III + – we also send a safety kayaker. At the end of the rafting we will return to “Cusipata River Lodge” where you can take a shower with hot water and enter the sauna, and then have a delicious lunch in our dining room.

We will pick you up from the hotel arround 8:30 am and drive with direction to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, our first stop is going to be Chinchero Inca site, where we will have the chance t osee one of the most beatiful inca sites that we have, we will also make an stop in the weaving center that is usually managed by local ladies to preserve the techniques of the dyeing process and weaving process. our next stop is going to be the Salt Mines of Maras, an incredible natural place where locals are still producing salt, Moray Inca Site is close to this places and will be our next stop, we will finish the visit of the Sacred Valley with our tour in Ollantaytambo Inca Site and Inca town, we will spend the night here.

We will begin our 2 Day Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with an early departure from Cusco. Heading towards the Sacred Valley, our journey to Ollantaytambo promises scenic views and a glimpse into local Andean life. From Ollantaytambo, we make our way to Km 104, the starting point of our hike on the famed Inca Trail.

Chachabamba: As we set foot on the trail at Chachabamba, a sense of anticipation fills the air. Chachabamba, a significant archaeological site along the Short Inca Trail, marks the beginning of our journey towards Machu Picchu. As we explore this site, we’ll gain insights into the spiritual and daily lives of the Inca people, setting the tone for the historical and cultural discoveries that await us on our hike.

Wiñay Wayna: Our path leads us through lush cloud forests and past cascading waterfalls, a testament to the biodiversity of the region. We will ascend towards the archaeological wonder of Wiñay Wayna. It is an ancient site known for its intricate terraces and spiritual significance. Exploring this site offers a profound connection to the past. It will reveal the harmony between Incan culture and the Andean nature. Additionally, it will be setting the stage for the awe-inspiring experience of Machu Picchu.

Intipunku (Sungate) Continuing our ascent, we will reach the Sun Gate. Here, we will be rewarded with the first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu, nestled among the Andean peaks. This moment, capturing the essence of the Incan heritage and the beauty of the landscape, will be a highlight of our day. The Sun Gate, or Intipunku, stands as an ancient gateway on the Short Inca Trail. It offers the first mesmerizing glimpse of Machu Picchu.

Aguas Calientes: As the sun begins to set, we will make our descent to Aguas Calientes. This town serves as the gateway to Machu Picchu and will be our resting place for the night. Settling into a comfortable hotel, we will have the evening to relax and reflect on the day’s adventures. The anticipation for the next day’s exploration of Machu Picchu adds to the excitement of our journey.

You will have your breakfast in the hotel, and then your tour guide will pick you up and take you to the bus station where you will take the bus up to the majestic Machu Picchu. You must bring a valid passport to entry into Machu Picchu. Once there, you will begin your guided walking tour for about 2 hours approximately. After enjoying Machu Picchu, you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes for lunch, pick up your bags from the hotel, and then take the train back to Cusco or Ollantaytambo, where a representative of Kaypi Peru tours will pick you up and take you to the hotel.
